To systematically review current research progress, clarify research priorities for the next phase, and coordinate the orderly advancement of the Laboratory’s various activities, the Anhui Provincial Engineering Research Center for Advanced Functional Polymer Films held a semester work review and exchange meeting on the afternoon of August 4. Four postdoctoral researchers and the leaders of the Center’s research groups attended the meeting. Professor Li Liangbin, Professor Cui Kunpeng, and the specially appointed associate research fellows were also present to provide guidance.
At the meeting, the four postdoctoral researchers delivered their work reports in turn. They provided comprehensive accounts of the progress of their respective research projects, the work undertaken by researchers in their groups, and the day-to-day operation and management of the Laboratory. They objectively reviewed the interim achievements made at the current stage, candidly analyzed the difficulties and bottlenecks encountered in their research, and presented their subsequent work plans.

Following the presentations, the attending faculty members offered comments and guidance on each report. Professor Li Liangbin, Professor Cui Kunpeng, and the specially appointed associate research fellows conducted detailed analyses of the presentations and provided targeted guidance and specific, practical recommendations concerning innovative research directions, the optimization of experimental plans, in-depth data analysis, and models of team collaboration. They encouraged the researchers to remain focused on the frontiers of advanced functional polymer films, strengthen innovative thinking, and continue addressing key scientific questions.

The leaders of the research groups then held extensive discussions on the current implementation of their projects, arrangements for advancing experiments, and issues requiring urgent coordination and resolution. They exchanged research ideas and shared experimental experience, creating a productive atmosphere for academic exchange.
The meeting established an efficient platform for research communication, enabling a comprehensive review of recent research achievements while also clarifying the direction of subsequent work. As the next step, all researchers at the Engineering Research Center will carefully incorporate the guidance and recommendations presented at the meeting, further refine and implement their work plans, unite their efforts to overcome challenges, and continue pursuing new breakthroughs in research on advanced functional polymer films.
