Quantum cascade lasers

Daylight Solutions has extended the performance of the Über Tuner™ series of EC-QCLs (External Cavity quantum cascade Lasers) – the first and most reliable broadly tunable mid-IR lasers on the market. These pulsed lasers allow unprecedented access to high-brightness coherent light in the mid-IR with as much as 350 cm-1 or 2.4 µm of tunability using only a single gain chip. The Über Tuner™ covers broad wavelength ranges and so also a broad range of applications: nanoscale spectroscopic imaging, stand-off explosive detection, hyperspectral imaging for medical diagnosis, microscopy, and food safety and contamination detection.
