Test procedure
Raise the sleeve of the inner cylinder to the starting position slowly and clamp the sleeve of inner cylinder with the cylinder sleeve post;
Put the prepared sample on the bottom clip and turn the rotary knob to seal well between the adapter piece, sample and bottom clip;
Release the sleeve of inner cylinder from the cylinder sleeve post and allow it to fall freely. Pay attention to the scale on the cylinder and use chronograph stopwatch to start timing from the scale of 0 ml and stop timing when it reaches at the scale of 25/50/100/150/200/250/300 ml, etc;
You can also start timing from 100ml which is free to choose for users;
The same product should test at least 3 times and take the average;
When you finished the test, you should take out the sample first. Turn the rotary knob and rotate the carrier to the lowest position for taking out the sample between the adapter and the bottom clip;
Lift the sleeve of inner cylinder to the starting position slowly and use the cylinder sleeve post to clamp it in the starting position。
Precautions
Do not lift the inner cylinder sleeve quickly or directly. This will pull the oil up and bring it into the central air tube, resulting that the adapter plate and the gasket may be contaminated by oil, and the gasket will be deformed and damaged.
Sample Preparation
The minimum size for tested sample is 5x5 cm. The surface must be flat and must not have irregular shapes such as bends, scratches, or zigzags. It is better to use alcohol and clean paper to clean the surface. Avoiding fingers or hard objects to touch the surface of sample.
