The Anhui Provincial Engineering Research Center for Advanced Functional Polymer Films adopts a system in which the Director is responsible under the leadership of the Technical Committee. The Technical Committee formulates the laboratory’s development directions and management regulations based on industry needs. The Director, appointed by the Technical Committee, is responsible for presiding over and coordinating the overall work of the laboratory.
The Technical Committee is composed of experts from universities, research institutes, and the polymer film processing and manufacturing industry, with members from industry accounting for no less than one-third of the total. Its main responsibilities include appointing the laboratory Director, defining development goals and strategic plans, determining key research areas and directions, and overseeing financial budgeting and final accounts.
The Technical Committee serves as a vital link for industry–academia–research collaboration and as a bridge for transferring technological achievements to the industry.
